Est-ce que quelqu'un sait où se trouve la batterie du système d'alarme sur une V8 Vantage de 2007?
J'ai une alerte sur mon tdb qui m'indique qu'il faut la changer.

Si c'est une batterie indépendante ... aucune idée !


Mais je suppose que c'est une sirène auto alimentée .... donc batterie interne



La sirène est dans le passage de roue arrière gauche


Pour l'atteindre il faut tomber la roue puis enlever la garniture du passage de roue

Demande par MP à Paspoil, il a peut être le workshop de la vantage

Au départ, le vendeur m'avait dit sous la roue avant droite...j'ai peut-être mal compris?

Ca dépend s'il a lu le manuel ou pas.


Je m'explique, les manuels sont fait pour des voitures RHD donc pas toujours traduis correctement.


Par exemple sur ma 9, le manuel indique que le lecteur du gps est derrière le siège de droite or il est à gauche

avant a droite c est juste

Je ne retrouve pas le workshop de la V8 Vantage mais Vincent à raison, demande à Paspoil



Mais je mettrais ma main à couper que quand j'ai installé le diffuseur carbone, c'est dans le passage de roue arrière gauche que j'ai vu l'alarme (c'était aussi une 2007)

Ben dis donc elle a été construite sur un cimetière indien ta V8?...

C'est bien passage de roue arrière gauche

Attention je ne suis pas d'accord avec le positionnement du cric ...




Replaced my Alarm Module this weekend. After reading the procedure on the Shop Manual, it did not look complicated, so decided to do it myself.
Here are the steps/pictures.

1. Lift the car! you are going to remove the left tire. My jack does not go that low, so i have to put the car on top of 2x4" pieces of wood, or a ramp.
2. Remove the left back wheel.
3. Remove the wheel liner:
3.a) Remove the gas drain hose from the clips at the back of the wheel liner. (Just by pressure, they are not screwed)
3. Remove all the self tapping screws that secures the liner to the back fender (about 6 of them, Philips/cross screws). You don't need to remove the ones that go to the front side skirts.
3.c) Remove the screws that secures the liner to the body of the car (torx T-30, 5 of them).

4. Remove the cable to the old alarm module. Push/squish to unlock, and pull.
5. Remove the alarm module secured by two M6 lock nuts.
6. Install the new alarm module, and tight the M6 lock nuts. Connect the cables/connector.
7. Test that the message on the console disappears.
7. Put back the wheel liner, screws.
8. Connect the gas drain hose.
9. Don't forget to put back the wheel!

Total time is about 1h. Tools: X screw driver, T-30 torx, metric cup set.
Original part AM part #4G43-37-10655, has been replaced with new part #9G43-37-11094. About $199 from an AM dealer.
This is the alarm module who has the tilt sensor as well as the horn/siren (high spec). There are some cars who use the one without the tilt sensor (std spec). Give your VIN to the dealer, and he can check what module you have
Looks like is a Ford (FoMoCo) part, but could not find it anywhere on the web with the part # displayed on the module.

My right door lock/latch is also not working sometimes (another common problem), got the part, so will replace it next weekend. will post pics too.

Moi non plus mais peut-être pas pour les mêmes raisons.


Je pense qu'il a fait ça car son cric est trop haut en position basse.


Le cou des rampes pourquoi pas mais uniquement quand tu laisses les roues.


Là c'est limite et t'as intérêt à bien bloquer l'avant et la roue arrière opposée. Si la voiture rippe, t'es mort !!
