N24 register of chassis numbers

SVO N24 Initial plans were for 24 cars in total, one for every hour of the N24 race. Kits of parts were made up for each car with the engines built by Bruce Bermingham. In total only 15 Vantage N24 were hand built by Special Vehicle Operations at Aston Martin's Gaydon factory.

These included the prototype "Rose" that was converted from a V8 Vantage Confirmation Protoype (CP025) by the Prototype department led by Chris Porrit. Production cars began at chassis number 0001 with the first two N24 built for Ulrich Bez (001) and John Sinders (002). The last car completed was 0015, 0013 was not built.

Chassis numbers: N240001 - N240015 (0013 not built) 1 proto, 14 production

AMR N24 Prodrive, who had all the rights to Aston Martin's racing activities, objected to Gaydon building the N24. Even though it was based on a production car Aston Martin Racing prevailed and the build of all subsequent vehicles was moved to the Banbury facility where AMR was based. The last 9 N24 kits were used to build up the first batch of cars. Chassis numbers for these N24 began at S001 with a "M" (manual) or "S" (sportshift) prefix denoting the gearbox type. The last completed was S039. 18 of these were built for the Aston Martin Asia Cup race series.
